Full and partial desalination

During desalination, dissolved salts in the water are removed by ion exchange.

The systems are used for many applications, including the production of rinse water, process water, boiler water, and more.

Sensor-controlled water softening systems

Spiegl water softeners are equipped with a sensor to detect when the resin bed is exhausted. This feature is unique and patented by Spiegl.

Sensor-controlled water softeners only regenerate when the bottle is actually exhausted. In contrast, water meter-controlled systems regenerate according to a calculated value and not according to the state of exhaustion. After regeneration, the user-friendly touch panel can be used to check whether the regeneration was successful. In the event of an error, you receive an immediate notification and have time to react. In the event of an operational malfunction, e.g., salt shortage or low pressure during regeneration, we detect faulty regeneration or hard water breakthrough and protect sensitive technology such as reverse osmosis or boilers with an alarm.

The commissioning of a sensor-controlled system is more user-friendly, as no extensive capacities need to be calculated and safety is guaranteed. This means that the system can be put into operation easily and without complications.
