Pure and ultrapure water

Even the highest quality drinking water can cause problems if it enters the product directly. Water used as an ingredient in food, beverages, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals must be free of unwanted taste, odor, color, and contaminants.

 

Each water treatment plant is tailored to the specific application in order to achieve the desired quality of the water ingredient.

 

We have experience in water treatment in the following areas:

  • Semiconductors and solar, e.g., pure and ultrapure water for production purposes

System for pure and ultrapure water

In 2022, we delivered a 2-line ultrapure water treatment system with concentrate recovery for a military hospital in Rhineland-Palatinate.

 

Setup of fully redundant 2-line water treatment system:​

  • Activated carbon filter

  • Quality-controlled double softening system

  • Reverse osmosis system

  • ECDI

  • Concentrate recycling to reduce wastewater to < 10%

  • SPS-S7 control with touch panel visualization and data exchange with control room

  • Water quality requirement: 2 x 1.5 m³/h with 0.2 µS/cm
